The journey begins in the beautiful village of Sembalun, famous for its vast savannas. Day one is dominated by relatively flat trails and rolling hills passing through Posts 1, 2, 3, and 4, before finally pitching tents and spending the night at Plawangan Sembalun, with a breathtaking view of Segara Anak Lake from above.
Wake up at 2 AM to begin the summit attack to the top of Rinjani at 3,726m to enjoy the sunrise. Return to camp for breakfast, then descend to Segara Anak Lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing soak in the natural volcanic hot springs near the lake. Overnight at the shores of Segara Anak Lake.
The return journey uses the newest and most exotic route: the Torean Trail. This trek follows the Kokok Putih river, flanked by steep cliffs like in a Jurassic Park movie, and passes through several amazing waterfalls including Penimbungan Waterfall. The journey ends in Torean/Senaru Village, then transfer out.
